About Ellie

I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a minor in Chinese language at Colorado College. My studies and passions lie within understanding regenerative agriculture, and sustainable food systems. I have studied the concept of slow food, and am committed bridging the gap between farmers and consumers to better understand where our food comes from.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a strong connection to the natural world. Attending farm to table camps, growing and distributing food, caring for animals, and educating others in agriculture practices, has all shaped the way I see the world and sparked my interest in environmental stewardship.

I am also an artist and designer working across food, watercolor, and ceramics. My work is shaped by my background in sustainable agriculture and a deep appreciation for seasonality, nature, and handmade process. Whether in the kitchen or the studio, I love to create pieces that tell stories and bring people together through food, art, and design.
